Meeting with decision makers has been held in Plav on 20th September 2019. Representatives of PFOA have made a presentation of results of the study (made by the consultant together with the WG and CSOs) which refers to the analysis of the legislative and strategic framework for private forests. The presentation suggested recommendations for improvements, as well as the results that would be achieved if those suggestions were accepted.
The meeting was attended by the most important representatives of decision-makers in the forestry sector of Montenegro, including: Mr. Milisav Andjelic – State Secretary for Forestry, Hunting and Wood Industry; Mr. Nusret Kalac – Director of the Forest Administration of Montenegro, Mr. Alija Bralić – Chief Inspector of Forestry, Hunting and Wood Industry; Ms. Zehra Demic – Head of department for cultivation and protection of forests; Mr. Admir Lalić – Director of the National Park Prokletije. The meeting was also attended by Šefket Jevrić – President of the Plav Municipal Assembly.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of the PFOA, a consultant as well as a representative of the CNVP.
